CKL operates with several values running forefront, one of our major values is transparency, honesty and being human with our customers and followers. We have shared our disasters, our greatest achievements & our raw moments with our following and customer base and will continue to do so to ensure that we truely are human and old values are what keeps us ticking. Here we have curated some questions that we believe are important for you to know before participating in our pre-orders.
What is a pre-order?
We define a pre-order at CKL as a product that is not held or yet arrived to our main premises (CKL HQ). It can be an item stored at another warehouse, custom made by our team of manufacturers or an item in transit to CKL HQ.
Why does CKL offer pre-orders?
Whilst there’s several reasons why we continue to offer pre-orders, one of our main reasons is to limit our wastage as a business. We can better predict sale patterns, trends, quantities and items movement with this model. It means we don’t have boxes of old stock building up and importantly do not need to constantly promote the same items to our customer base, we can allow for more design freedom, new products & fun!
Though it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, it works really well for us and we LOVE it.
How do you guarantee arrival time?
We simply can’t to keep it honest and simple. We do our best with our own extensive experience to give the most accurate turn around time, however we never guarantee an arrive-by date. If you have a deadline for an item it’s always best to reach out to us and have a chat.
We work with a close knit team of warehouses & manufacturers that understand the importance of fast shipments and avoiding delays. Though these key partners and ourselves agree quality is foremost.
How can I stay updated?
We post on Facebook for key updates, though for more regular updates we keep it for the pre order updates page here on our website, which you can find in the menu.

I am hesitant!
The first step would be to reach out to us, we are more than happy to have a chat and answer your questions. As mentioned above, it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, if there’s something you really love let us know and we might be able to help you out and let you know when/if the item is coming into stock.
What if something happens to the items before reaching CKL HQ?
Though this has a slim chance of happening, it is always a possibility. Our trusted team of couriers help us keep track of parcels, alongside trusted warehouses and manufacturers who are there to help us and value your satisfaction as an individual customer.
We always have an option b, option c and in most cases an option d in the moment of a disaster and have utilised ‘the next’ option in cases before.
We have full responsibility to ensure you get your items in the condition advertised governed by Australian laws and we take this very seriously.
If there has been a problem with your order causing a significant delay you will always be notified, often by phone call, occasionally via email/text depending on the exact circumstances. We will do our best to advise an updated timeframe.
Is this drop-shipping?
Definitely not. It would be a piece of cake for us if so, but does not align with our own values nor the business’s values.
Drop-Shipping is an item sent from a warehouse directly to you as a customer. At CKL ALL pre-order items come to us first, where we can check quality, condition and ensure you get the item you ordered to the best of our own ability (not somebody else’s). We are obsessed with our own items, and the thought of not seeing them before they come to you breaks our hearts! (Not to be all dramatic!)
Importantly, it allows us to have a customer-in-mind return and refund policy and not rely on anybody else to ensure your satisfaction.
